On January 12, 2012 DJ Shakey hosted a multi-room, multimedia performance gala at the Clocktower Gallery as part of her production and project residency here for ARTonAIR.org. Over 24 artists occupied 8 spaces for 3-plus hours illuminating the theme of alternative controllers for electronic instruments both audio and video.
This program highlights the set played by the Tsunami Bass Experience that night. Founded in 2009 by DJ/producer Morphous and MC/instrumentalist ShiZaru, the two describe the project as "an art and musical collective that creates and produces wave theory-based edutainment designed to enlighten and enhance events in the form of interactive Bass Culture guaranteed to wobble your booty."
