On January 12, 2012 DJ Shakey hosted a multi-room, multi-media performance gala at the Clocktower Gallery as part of her production and project residency here for ARTonAIR.org. Over 24 artists occupied 8 spaces for 3-plus hours illuminating the theme of alternative controllers for electronic instruments both audio and video.
This program highlights the set played by Banginclude that night. Banginclude (Michael Hatsis)--a devotee and activist in the Controllerism movement of alternative devices for manipulating audio and a DJ Shakey associate--is a Brooklyn, NY based electronic musician, visual artist and all around adventurer. He is an educator and de-educator as well as a founder of the sound design firm, Trackteam Audio.
