VOLUNTEER FOR AIR
VOLUNTEERING BUILDS STRONG BONES 12 WAYS
AIR, Art International Radio is recruiting volunteers. We’re looking for all manner of people – snappy writers, clever designers, radio heads, audio geeks, Web freaks – as we move into this deeper phase of our development.
Operating out of the historic Clocktower building in downtown Manhattan, AIR is venue to programs in a variety of veins, from the expository to the experimental, from the analytical to the artistic. We are host to interview programs, recordings from across the world, gossip, cooking advice and much more. We also have an immense archive of recordings from such organizations as the Venice Biennale, Art Basel Miami Beach, the Museum of Modern Art, PERFORMA, PennSound, BOMB Magazine and 192 Books, among others. Daily responsibilities vary greatly and depending upon interest; one day you may find yourself composing blurbs for shows in the following week’s new schedule, the next recording audio for one of our satellite series, the next helping to orchestrate an upcoming exhibition, the next dining with denizens of the contemporary art world.
If you are interested in volunteering or an internship position with AIR, please send a statement of interest along with your resume to us at info@artonair.org. We look forward to hearing from you.
