Meringue Diplomacy is an experimental video documentary on the life of Antonin Carême, the recognized founder of French grande cuisine, produced and directed by Terri Hanlon, with Eric Barsness, Jacques Bekaert and Carol Clements. The music coordinator is composer David Behrman. See our ARTonAIR Interview series with a conversation with the filmmakers. In this segment we feature the musical soundtrack with several selections by David Behrman plus music by Jacques Bekaert with Jenny Lin on piano, Barbara Held playing flute and FX, John King with the ETHEL String Quartet, two works by Laetitia Sonami for her ladies glove, a song by Maria Ludovici, and a waltz by Jon Gibson: In Good Company.
