The Music of Harry Partch
The essence of the outsider composer Harry Partch (1901-1974), who was one of the first post-Bach, equal temperament era, Western composers to work with microtonal scales. Partch built custom-made instruments and created his own tuning systems in the service of what he called "Corporeal Music."
