One of cinema's most accomplished and acclaimed filmmakers, Stephen Frears reunites with Michelle Pfeiffer for the first time since 1988's Dangerous Liaisons with Cheri, an adaptation by Christopher Hampton of the Colette novel. Frears, interviewed at New York's Four Seasons Hotel, may currently be best known for directing Helen Mirren to her Oscar - and every other film acting award in existence - for The Queen, although other his remarkable and fierce resumé also includes such notable films as The Grifters, My Beautiful Laundrette and Dirty Pretty Things (15 minutes).
