Rachel Weisz, The Lovely Bones
Hosted by
Stephen Schaefer
Originally aired on

A Golden Globe-, BAFTA- and Oscar-winning actress who divides her career between stage and screen, Rachel Weisz had no trouble playing the traumatized mother of a murdered teenager in Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones. Acting is acting, she explains during an interview at L.A.'s Four Seasons, whether she's naïve heiress in The Brothers Bloom or Blanche du Bois in 2009's Donmar Warehouse production of A Streetcar Named Desire. This is one actress whose roles are never brought home, which in Weisz' case means the London or New York residences she shares with her partner Darren Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream, The Wrestler) and their son Henry (26 minutes).
