If it's all in the telling, don't trust artist Omer Fast to tell it like it was. In single and multi-screen projections, this Israeli-born artist re-imagines interviews he has had with survivors of a suicide bomb, a politically battered African immigrant in London and an aging female drug addict in Belgium. Filtering and re-filtering language and image, Fast scrambles our own perceptions of reality and memory. Currently living in Berlin, Fast was awarded the Bucksbaum Award at the 2008 Whitney Biennial and the National Gallery Prize for Young Art in Berlin in 2009 (35 minutes).
