Max Neuhaus, Fontana Mix - Feed
Hosted by Elliott Sharp
Originally aired 6/11/12
The legendary Max Neuhaus channels John Cage with his multiple realizations of Fontana Mix. Through amplification, experimentation and spatial awareness, Neuhaus constructs a nearly uncontrollable piece in which ambient drone and harsh noise feed off the sonic patterns of surrounding space, creating a cataclysmic collision of sound. The music is forceful and seems to resides not only within your speakers but in your head, utilizing all free space, including your mind space, to augment the humming, vibrating and roaring sounds that intertwine. Prepare for brilliant feedback.
