Will Sits down with White Columns Director and Chief Curator Matthew Higgs and talks London circa the 1990s. Matthew feels that a history needs to be written about this place and time (maybe after our Williamsburg oral history project is finished!), one that doesn't talk solely about Charles Saatchi and the YBAs--although there of course must be plenty about them as well. Back in the day Matthew produced a pretty famous serious of artist publications using a Xerox machine after work, producing pieces by Billy Childish, Chris Ofili and many others.
