Joshua Furst, Black Ice and The Sabotage Café

As part of BOMB Magazine's Fiction For Driving Across America series, Joshua Furst reads his short story Black Ice, which is published in the Spring 2010 issue of BOMB, and a portion of his novel The Sabotage Café. Anxiety leads to poignancy to confusion in Furst's worlds of sublimity and instability, and his abilities are so strong that he helps us realize that these worlds may, too, be ours (36 minutes).
