Joel Shapiro

Sculptor Joel Shapiro describes his studio on Leonard Street and the meaning of bridges. He speaks about his inaugural exhibition at the Clocktower Gallery, referencing the specifics of scale, space, and material as only an artist can. Shapiro remembers a different show from Heiss, a bridge, a ladder and pair of birds vs. a bridge and a chair, respectively.
