AIR, Art International Radio is looking for a part-time Webmaster and systems administrator.

AIR is looking for a 1970’s idealist with 21st Century tech skills who is committed to contemporary art–-music, theater, poetry, and the visual arts—-to work with our world-class team in the development and maintenance of artistic platforms and projects that will benefit people around the world.

Knowledge of Windows and Mac OS and networking, php, MySQL, Javascript, UNIX/Linux, open source technologies, and Adobe technologies is necessary. XHTML / CSS production skills will likely be needed from time to time. Experience with Drupal, Joomla, audio, video and streaming media ideal.

This is a part-time position with a 3-day per week flexible schedule, $25/hour, and benefits of enhanced virtue and making a cultural contribution.

AIR, Art International Radio is an Internet radio station and free online audio archive for cultural programming. AIR hosts performances, installations, cultural symposia, and workshops. Its studio rooms provide production and development facilities for audio art and music, radio theatre, spoken word projects, interdisciplinary works and new media innovation. AIR is located in the historic lower Manhattan Clocktower building, a space renowned since the 1970’s for its legendary exhibitions, performances, and artist residencies.
