On March 30-31, 2011 the Michigan State University Department of Art and Art History's Electronic Art & Intermedia program hosted the Form From Thought Symposium to discuss the intersections among art, science and technology--which included the panel heard in this segment--along with lectures and a reception for the new Form From Thought Laboratory, a state-of-the-art multimedia space where students conduct intermedia research.
The panel participants were: Michael Rush, moderator and Director of the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University (MSU); Adam Brown, Professor of Electronic Art & Intermedia at MSU; Robert Root-Bernstein, Professor of Physiology at MSU; Christian Paul, Director of Media Studies at The New School & adjunct curator of New Media Arts at the Whitney Museum; Ken Feingold, New York-based conceptual artist and psychoanalyst; and John Fillwalk, Director of the Institute for Digital Intermedia Arts at Ball State University.
