Franco and Eva Mattes, the couple also known as 01001011101011101.ORG, have been hacking their way into art history since the mid-90s. Best known for their web interventions (a current one has Franco dangling from a rope in a perversely real simulation of a suicide), the pair, walking deftly and digitally in Duchamp's footsteps, questions the authenticity of the art object (along with the ubiquity of advertising) in carefully planned and executed art actions. Host Michael Rush probes their secretive methods and attempts to get them to reveal their real names (33 minutes).
