The third episode of Adjusted by Addition begins shortly after Sam's revealing confessions to William, a prominent CEO with a new, revolutionary business strategy. In this episode, William elaborates upon this strategy with radio show host Earl and best-selling author and economist Drew, who has her own radical economic philosophy to combat William's. The audience receives a glimpse inside the upsetting thoughts of Drew, which lead her to a shockingly violent act. Sam, privy to the sounds of this act taking place on live broadcast, later listens to a recording of Violet as she recounts her memory of a much-loved movie.
