DJ Kervyn Mark
From deep, soulful house to Afro-Brazilian and psychedelic grooves, this smooth set of underground sounds and classics from veteran dance DJ Kervyn Mark was recorded live on the terrace at PS1's Warm Up on July 17, 2004.
Brooklyn native Kervyn Mark has been spinning around NYC from the early days of hip-hop through the legendary Manhattan nightlife eras of the Paradise Garage, Danceteria and Suzanne Bartsch's famed Club Savage, where Mark reigned as the first resident DJ. Since his early days as a club maverick, Mark has spun all over the world as well as in his hometown, with notable guest spots at Body & Soul, Dance Promise, and at Bang the Party. Mark serves on the board of directors for Melting Pot NYC, an artists' collective whose main objective is to enlighten through music.
