For this April 2012 edition of Sonoridade, host/producer Béco Dranoff presents a special selection of Brazilian songs remixed by international producers and DJ's such as Takako Minekawa from Japan, Peter Kruder from Austria and David Byrne from the U.S. Along with the Brazilian talents of Suba, DJ Rodrigo Ferrari, Márcio Menescal, Insituto and more.
A good remix is a rare and special art form, reworks of existing works, new visions of the something that already exists, they can be very tricky. Some remixes don't add much to the original version but some bring the song to a whole new level. These selections fall in the second category.
