Sonoridade host and producer Béco Dranoff has been working alongside Erika Eliott from Summerstage and Petrit Pula from Nublu Records, as a co-curator on the second annual Brasil SummerFest event. This week-long series of free and paid Brazilian music concerts will happen in venues all over New York from the 21st through the 28th of July. Performing artists range from the world class sounds of Bebel Gilberto to the Tropicália madness of Os Mutantes and the hyper-coolness of newcomer Criolo. Amazing performances also by Luisa Maita, Flavio Renegado, Mauricio Pessoa, Pedro Moraes, DJ Dolores and the US premiere of São Paulo's indie-darling Mallu, and many more.
