192 Books and Two Dollar Radio hosted a reading with Barbara Browning, author of The Correspondence Artist, and Jay Neugeboren who wrote You Are My Heart. The event took place in the bookstore's 10th Avenue location in Manhattan on May 3, 2011.

In The Correspondence Artist, Vivian, a writer, is carrying on a relationship with an internationally acclaimed artist. There are those who stand to profit---and suffer—from the revelation of her paramour’s identity, son in the service of telling her tale, she creates a series of fictional lovers. Largely through Vivian’s e-mail correspondence, she divulges the story of their relationship.

In You Are My Heart, Neugeboren’s stories travel from the secluded villages in the south of France, to the cattle crawl in the Valley of a Thousand Hills in South Africa, to the hard-knock adolescent streets of Brooklyn, and examines the great mysteries and complexities that unsettle and comprise human relationships.
