This episode of Jam Sandwich is a basic breakfast breakdown of Joe & Ginny's favorite layers of musical junk food. There are mix tape staples like Dan Deacon, Best Friends Forever, and Future Islands that have been cultured and aged in the cheese caves for months, but there's also a half dozen bands straight out the Brooklyn chicken coop, like a Lucky Dragons single from a new Swill Children record, and Afu-Ra (of Gang Starr fame), who just rocked the Bushwick Party Hall, Big Snow Buffalo Lodge. We've even slipped in a few cured slabs of lore, like The Best Thing Ever singing with dogs, and an Public Servicement Announcement on the perils of sugar by Ed Schraeder. Also featuring some sweet treats by The Babies, naked-and-duct-taped Japanese party animals Trippple Nippple, EMA, and Paul Baribeau playing far out on a dock somewhere.
