Alan Loney talks about his journey from a bookless childhood to a life as a book maker and printer, about the influence of American poetry on his work, and about his place in New Zealand postwar poetry. Loney is a poet and printer from New Zealand who currently lives in Australia, some of whose recent work has focused on the nature of the book.
