ACAW 11: Jungjin Lee, Wind Artist Jungjin Lee in discussion with photography critic and historian, Vicki Goldberg in conjunction with the artist’s exhibition and publication, entitled Wind. Lee, who received her undergraduate degree in ceramics, is a self-taught photographer with an MFA in Photography from NYU. She was also assistant to Robert Frank for many years. As a Korean, her documentation of her response to the American desert landscape, combined with her unconventional printing process using photo emulsion on Korean paper, bring a deliberately subjective and cultural perspective to her work.
Introduced by Denise Wolf, book editor at Aperture. Recorded on March 26, 2011 at Aperature in association with the Asian Cultural Council.
