At the Clocktower Gallery on Oct. 13, 2011 the Chicago-based Neon Marshmallow produced a concert of extreme and experimental music featuring C. Spencer Yeh and Zarzutzki, in solo and duo combinations as a celebration of their festival in New York.

Recorded live in the Clocktower in Sept. 2011, the exceptionally skilled guitarist experimented with layers of intricately finger-picked improvisations and textures built through the masterful and precise use of a battery of effects and loop pedals.

Dan Friel of the Brooklyn-based experimental rock/noise band Parts & Labor gave a solo performance of all new works and performed one duo with Karen Waltuch on viola. The show was part of our 2011 Above the Law music series curated by Joe Ahearn.

Pick up the jack and listen! The rock band and art duo Japanther has installated a 70s style phone booth in the Clocktower that you can come and see and play with. When you listen you hear stories and confessions collected during their residency.
