Jane Kaplowitz is a painter and art critic. She has shown her work at many galleries and museums, including Jason McCoy Gallery, Curt Marcus Gallery, Rupert Goldsworthy Gallery, P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, the Drawing Center, and Barbara Gladstone Gallery. In 2004 Kaplowitz joined the faculty at Yale University School of Art as a critic in Painting and Printmaking. She received her B.F.A. from Pratt in 1971, and her M.F.A. from the Art Institute of Chicago in 1973.
