Glenn O'Brien is a writer and editor whose work mainly focuses on art, music, and fashion. Early in his career Glenn was a member of Andy Warhol's Factory, where he contributed to the magazine Andy Warhol's Interview. He later returned to editing Interview magazine when he was appointed the editorial director of Brant Publications (2008-2009). From 1978 to 1982, O'Brien hosted the public access cable television show The Party, interviewing emerging artists and musicians such as David Byrne, Klaus Nomi, August Darnell, Fab 5 Freddy, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Amos Poe, Blondie, The Clash, DNA, and The Fleshtones. Glenn is currently the co-editor of the arts and literature magazine The Bald Ego and frequently contributes to GQ Magazine.
