Beatrice Johnson is Managing Director and Associate Curator at the Clocktower Gallery/ARTonAIR.org. She is responsible for the production of visual arts programs, and oversees Operations, Staff & Human Resources, Press, Development, Public Relations, and Special Events. She is a former dancer, and was for 3 years Curatorial and Administrative Assistant in the Director's Office at P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center. There she worked on a variety of exhibitions and international projects, worked closely with the Director of Development and with the Board of Trustees, and served as a liaison between P.S.1 and its affiliate, the Museum of Modern Art. She was also involved in Art Radio WPS1.org's presence at the Slick art fair in Paris and at the Art Basel Miami Beach fair in 2008. Beatrice studied Art History and Spanish at Wellesley College, and was born and raised in Paris, France.
