Welcome to our Beirut Bureau! Specifically, our newest host/producer, J. Namy aka Electric Kahraba, a Beirut-based artist (with Detroit roots) who operates across a range of media to investigate aspects of identity, memory, power and currents encoded in music. His first show for us debuts this week and it is a history of the synthesizer in the Middle East. Hear it HERE.

Now on View! Nervescape, a fantastical, towering creature installation by the Icelandic artist Shoplifter with sound by Kría Brekkan. Javelin's Canyon Candy soundtrack experience with its maze of dioramas and a film by Mike Anderson. Prisoner Fantasies: Photos from the Inside, self-portraits of and by inmates organized by artist Dave Adler. Plus project studios, long-term exhibits, and the thrill of the tower!
