By Sabina Streeter

In an alcove leading to AIR’s bell tower, Sabina Streeter has created an installation entitled Where Eagles Dare. Combining images of propaganda with raw industrial materials such as transformed light fixtures by the young artist Maximilian Eicke, Streeter’s mysterious, retro environment references the early usage of radio and technology toward propagandistic ends. The thrust of Streeter’s installation evokes the terrible power that technologies of mass communication may offer.
