Moral Kombat: G. Lucas Crane vs Casper Electronics

On June 28, 2011 the Clocktower Gallery presents the last installment of Moral Kombat with Moral Magistrate co-creator Casper Electronics taking on G Lucas Crane to decide once and for all who can imbue their composition with the most moral efficacy.

In the left corner, weighing in at astounding, Casper Electronic is an installation artist, sound artists, and accomplished musician. Based in Troy, New York, Casper Electronics has performed at numerous international festivals including PERFORMA and Mal Au Pixel in Paris, France. His installation work has been exhibited across the United States and Europe and he is the current Artist in Resident at Flux Factory in New York City.

In the right corner, weighing in at highly articulate, G Lucas Crane is himself an accomplished sound artist and musician. Crane is a member of the band Woods, who have toured across the United States and Europe. Crane recently scored several critically acclaimed plays and is Curator in Residence at Brooklyn's Silent Barn. Crane is also the curator of Moral Komat and a former Clocktower Resident.

Moral Kombat is curated by AIR's former Artist in Residence G Lucas Crane and organized by AIR's Performance and Installation Curator Joe Ahearn, and is free and open to the public.

The Clocktower Gallery is located in a City-owned building at 108 Leonard Street between Broadway and Lafayette, so please, remember to bring you ID for security. Enter through the grey door under the scaffolding and take the elevator to the 12th Floor. Take a left, enter through the red staircase B door, and walk up to the 13th Floor. The AIR offices and studios are down the corridor.
