Interns and Volunteers

The Clocktower Gallery and its radio station at ARTonAIR.org are looking for interns and volunteers to help with a wide range of projects and activities. We need writers, graphic designers, radio lovers, audio editors, Web and systems experts, carpenters, database aficionados, photographers, researchers, journalists, and history buffs. Everyone working here enjoys exposure to the cornucopia of ongoing activities like performances and exhibitions and a rare chance to interact with great art world minds and young talent. Surprises guaranteed.

If you are interested in volunteering at The Clocktower Gallery and its radio station Art International Radio, please send a statement of interest along with your bio or curriculum vitae to us at: info@artonair.org.

Submissions

The Clocktower Gallery and its radio station have an open submission policy for artists in all media. While our exhibition and performance series' are developed exclusively by our curatorial staff, our artist studio projects and radio production teams regularly review outside proposals. The capacity of the studio projects is extremely limited and highly competitive; artist history, media, scale, and other criteria are considered in an effort to support a diverse range of projects. Radio programs and audio art works are the most flexible way to contribute or get involved.

The Clocktower Gallery does not have a deadline for submissions. However, there are cycles throughout the year when different media or genres (e.g. video, installation, audio arts, spoken word) come up for funding. We will occasionally solicit proposals on our website.

Send us a bio, curriculum vitae or a good story about yourself, along with a short description of what you would like to do at the Clocktower. And send us links to watch or listen to. We will not open attachments.

Use our submissions@artonair.org mailbox to submit. Please include your name in the subject line.
