Past Exhibitions

Since its inception in 1972, the Clocktower Gallery has presented exhibitions by pioneering contemporary artists, including Gordon Matta-Clark, Max Neuhaus, Lynda Benglis, Dennis Oppenheim, Vito Acconci, Nam June Paik, Charlotte Moorman, Laurie Anderson, Marina Abramović, and Christian Marclay, among many others. The Clocktower continues this legacy by presenting work by emerging, underrecognized, and experimental artists in all media.

Papo Colo: Assorted Times in Singular Spaces is an exhibition of works on paper and poetry by Papo Colo, presented in the Clocktower’s historic Upper Gallery, and exploring the composition of poetry as visual imagination.
