Founded in 1972 by Alanna Heiss, the Clocktower Gallery is a historic alternative art space known for presenting seminal works in all media by some of the most important artists of our time. Current programming honors the Clocktower’s 40-year history and the spirit of the alternative spaces movement by focusing on experimental, interdisciplinary, and intergenerational projects in the visual and audio arts, music, performance, and radio.
Serra Victoria Bothwell Fels's meditative, abstractly layered, repurposed wood sculptures grace the ceiling of the Clocktower Gallery's broadcast studio operating out of Pioneer Works, Center for Art and Innovation. On view beginning March 9, 2014.
